Through the Action Center in Salsa, members can create, customize, and send messages via email or fax, as well as forward these messages to friends and family. Messages can be sent individually or compiled as an online petition. Actions are a terrific way to get your supporters involved, raise awareness, and grow your list!

- Action creation & management: You can create and launch actions using tools that require no technical skills. The Salsa system has an easy-to-use format that allows campaign managers to control and update the content of action pages and get detailed reports on actions taken.
- Graphics integration: Templates uploaded from your website allow you to create action pages that have the look and feel of your existing site.
- Letter customization: Organizations can choose to allow users to create their own subject lines and edit the alert message for increased effectiveness.

- District matching: Activists are automatically matched by state and federal legislative district to targeted officials. New activists simply enter their address and zip code in order to be matched with their elected officials.

Deliverability
Our system automatically matches supporters to state and federal legislative targets by district. In response to Congress' efforts to block electronic communications, we have designed our system to send messages through web forms at the federal level. Our system can submit messages to all other targets via email and/or fax only; however, we can provide custom programming at standard rates for state-level or other web forms you wish to target.
Letter-to-the-Editor
Letters to the editors of local papers can be a powerful way not only to get your message out to diverse communities, but to influence legislative opinion. With the letter to the editor tool in Salsa, you can create a webpage that allows supporters to choose from their local papers, or from media contacts of your choice, to generate and send letters. You can provide talking points for your supporters to use or let them compose the letter on their own.
